The Best Kind of Innovation

The iPhone is clearly the coolest thing going on right now. Not just because the iPhone5 launched today. (Though that is part of the inspiration behind this post.) Why? After years of excellent service, marketing, and innovative design, the iPhone is straight up dominating the marketplace. We all know this. Hindsight is always clearer than forecasting future trends. Still, there are signs of success you can instill into your work as you go.

What makes the iPhone great is the highly personalized interface without sacrificing security. Individuality.

The “cool factor” of owning an Apple product. Quality Brand.

There’s the community fellow iPhone owners feel when connecting with one another. Connection.

Can you create a concept people like to advertise they are apart of or identify with? Do they play a role in your success as a participant or stakeholder? How are they connecting with others?

Having an answer to these questions can put you on the road to the best kind of innovation. Do what the iPhone did in the mobile phone industry. Regardless of who else is out there trying to outdo you in whatever way will never own the perception of the masses. You can create what people see and perceive by being proactive and letting the wannabes followup with responses.

You can lead the way. Leading is the best kind of innovation.
