Shout Outs

Inspirational Perspective by Linal Harris

Last night I proudly listened to my older brother be interviewed by AM 1690 WVON Chicago Talk show. If you weren’t listening LIVE, you missed it! But, I’ll be adding the link to the talk as soon as it’s available, but in the mean time, here are the main takeaways I received from the talk. The links will take you back to some thoughts I’ve already written some thoughts on…

  1. Discover yourself through your passions. Write down 21 “I ams” and discover who you are through what you love rather than think of yourself in terms of what you do.
  2. Challenge Yourself by leaving your comfort zone and trying out new things.
  3. Do not limit yourself based on your nationality or ethnicity or any other demographical category.
  4. “Stay uncomfortable… that’s where the magic happens.”

Yesterday my younger sister posted a blog that shared a few tips for finding your purpose and living the best life possible from my radio interview Sunday night. A few of you have asked me about obtaining a replay of the interview, so I will be posting the interview just as soon as i get my hands on it. Hope your having an awesome week!
