you're reading...

“The person who stops studying merely because he has finished school is forever hopelessly doomed to mediocrity, no matter what may be his calling. The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge.”

The day you think that you know enough to make it, is the day that you will stop making it anywhere. Every day offers us an opportunity to learn. If we pass on that opportunity, we do ourselves and the world around us a disservice. The ability to learn also comes with humility. Without humility, you are a closed jar. Worthless for anything other than allowing people to peer through you at what you could offer, but they can never truly ascertain because real communication is about give and take. Listen and understand. Open and shut.

Leading is not about making noise. Leading is about learning how to inspire yourself and those around you to do just that: learn.
