- Today I watched a man and woman talk about their passion and journey to greatness. Both of them are in very different places in their lives, but they were still able to connect on a level that sparked inspiration. These two people are intelligent. Intelligence is defined as the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. Information flew at high speeds across the table and new information was shared as quickly as it was stored away. This conversation magnifies the need for people to focus on surrounding themselves with people who will wake the smart, motivated, game-changing person within. The people who bring out the lazy bum in you are no good for you. The people who inspire you but never hold you accountable to anything do not do much for you either. There has to be a balance that motivates you to move forward. Your collision with other forms of intelligence would not only inspire you, but inspire those watching. Simple but the idea is profound to me.
